ZAMBIAN BREWERIES CELEBRATES WORLD QUALITY WEEK 2025

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Zambian Breweries marked World Quality Week 2025, held from November 10-14, under the theme “Quality: Think Differently”, emphasising innovation, continuous improvement, and a people-focused approach to delivering quality products to its consumers.

Zambian Breweries Quality Assurance Manager, Eric Sakala stated that for years ‘thinking differently about how we run our business and ensuring that every process meets the highest standards” has put Zambian Breweries ahead of its peers in the industry locally and internationally.

“However, quality is not a static achievement; it is firstly a mindset embedded in everything we do. Central to this is the capability of our people, whose expertise ensures that every product we deliver meets or exceeds consumer expectations,” he continued.

Zambian Breweries has consistently demonstrated its commitment to world-class standards, with iconic brands such as Mosi Premium Lager earning multiple Monde Selection Gold Awards, underscoring the company’s dedication to precision, consistency, and craftsmanship in every drop.

Zambian Breweries Lusaka Plant Brewery Director, Lusa Sikwese highlighted its continuous improvement philosophy: “Excellence is not a destination but a continuous journey of innovation and refinement. In brewing, precision and consistency matter at every stage, from sourcing of raw materials to final packaging, to logistics – all to ensure that consumers receive products of the highest quality.”

Zambian Breweries subscribes to several quality management protocols and frameworks, including ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, BRC Standard Issue 9, and is compliant with the Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency and the Zambia Bureau of Standards.

“Delivering a product is not enough—it must be done with the highest standard of quality. Quality is a mindset that guides our decisions and actions every day. Thinking differently allows us to innovate, empower our teams, and consistently deliver excellence. This is how we show volume with quality, and why Zambian Breweries remains a trusted brand for consumers across Zambia,” concluded Zambian Breweries Country Director, Thais Cavinatto.

Zambia’s brewing giant noted that World Quality Week is an opportunity to celebrate quality champions, reinforce a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across its operations, and engage all employees in thinking differently to ensure that are maintained at every stage of production.
