LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Zambian Breweries, through its flagship clear beer brand Eagle Extra, is calling on fans of the popular draughts board game to test their skills in a thrilling championship that celebrates strategy, ingenuity and the gathering of community – with consumers being able to win prizes valued at K250,000 through a riveting draughts knock-out tournament in Lusaka and on the Copperbelt.


The brewer brought together fans of draughts, partners and stakeholders, as well as esteemed community heroes – musician, Vinchenzo and prominent entertainers such as Kelanzo, Charity Katanga, and Vubwi for the official launch of the Eagle Extra Draughts Campaign. The daring Eagle Extra consumers faced off in draughts against the community heroes, creating moments filled with laughter, joy, and competitive spirit where one of the Eagle Extra consumers won an Eagle Extra hamper and a K2,000 voucher. Vinchenzo then gave a vibrant and electric performance that brought captivating energy to Katungu Market.The Eagle Extra Draughts Campaign aims to bring businesses and friends together over the age-old board game in popular meeting spots and community spaces in Lusaka and the Copperbelt.
